A 50-year old lady, Hauwa Abdullahi, has been slaughtered, while three others supported differing degrees of wounds in a car collision at the Kula town end of the Bauchi-Kano Expressway in Bauchi State.
The mishap was said to have happened after a walker supposedly crossed the street without checking if there were moving vehicles.
It was assembled that the driver of a Volkswagen Sharon transport, which was on fast and heading for Kano from Bauchi, thumped down the lady.
It was said the vehicle somersaulted a short time later and hit someone else. The person on foot and the tenants of the transport purportedly supported wounds.
The Bauchi State Police Command's representative, Haruna Mohammed, affirmed the mischance on Tuesday.
Mohammed, a Superintendent of Police, expressed that the blue Sharon transport with number plate, LFA 539 XB, was driven by one Salisu Isiaka.
He said there were three travelers on the bus– Muhammed Haruna, Auwal Ahmadu and Abigail Sule.
He stated, "The mischance happened on March 13, 2017, at around 8pm. The transport murdered a lady, Hauwa Abdullahi, who was intersection the street, before somersaulting and thumping down another passerby, Bello Sama'ila.
He said the expired was affirmed dead at the Ganjuwa General Hospital.
The police representative included that the police watch group joined to the Ganjuwa division went by the scene.
"The individuals from the group were the ones that hurried the casualties to the general healing center, where Abdullahi was affirmed passing. Two others are reacting to treatment.
"The body has been discharged to Abdullahi's relatives for internment as per Islamic customs. The case is under scrutiny to learn real reason for the mischance," the police representative included.
