An obviously violent man, Chike John, displayed his boxing prowess at a
police station by breaking a police Inspector’s upper jaw in broad
daylight.
John was enraged after he was invited to the police station in Shasha, Lagos, and thus transferred his aggression on the innocent Police Inspector who was just doing his job.
The Inspector, identified as Elakbe Ojo, was badly injured to the extent that he can no longer speak or eat after series of blows from Chika damaged his jaw.

The incident happened at Afonka Police division in Shasha area of Lagos where Ojo serves.
The police officer suffered his fate after Chike the fighter was invited to the station over a complaint against him by his neighbour.
Trouble started when Chike went to the station and demanded to know the officer who invited him.
When Inspector Ojo informed him that he's the Investigation Police Officer detailed to investigate an allegation against him, he became furious, grabbed the man openly and rained blows on his mouth.
In the process Chike allegedly broke Ojo’s upper jaw.
His action threw the station into confusion before other policemen mobilized and handcuffed him.
He was charged to court on a one count charge of causing grievous bodily harm on Insp. Ojo who was performing his lawful duty.
When he was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, A.A. Fashola, granted Chike bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The court ordered Chike to be remanded in prison pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
The matter has been adjourned till 11 January, 2017.
